The victory for Atiku/Okowa media crew have visited the hausa community at Nasarawa in calabar, to seek for and access their opinion on the candidature of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, his running mate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the Peoples Democratic party.
The crew which was led by the secretary of new media for the Atiku/Okowa campaign organization in Cross River State, Ambassador Victory Ekpe toured the interior axis of the hausa community and obtained favourable opinions from the residents there, who expressed their love and desire for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to be returned as president of the federal republic of Nigeria.
At several points of interview, the people asserted that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is a unifier and his coming back to seek for the office of the president after he performed tremendously as vice president of the country is a project that should be supported to it’s sucess for the good of Nigerians.
The residents of Nasarawa, further complained of the Buhari led Government of the All progressives Congress(APC) and said Nigerians had made a terrible mistake that shouldn’t be repeated, as the Government of APC since it’s inception has inflicted hardship, Insecurity and everyday increase in the price of commodities in the market, which is why they want the Government of Peoples Democratic party (PDP) to return and restore the good governance that Nigerians had once enjoyed especially with a technocrat like Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who is proficient in managing the economy of Nigeria with being passionate about the welfare of the masses.
The Hausa women association who the media crew met and interacted with during their enlarged monthly meeting, expressed their support for Atiku/Okowa, Sandy/Emana and every other candidates of PDP in cross river state, said there is no community in cross river that does not have the presence of Hausa women and same resolutions from the women meetings are unanimously acted upon, iterated that women are influential to the success of every elections which is why they keep sensitising their fellow women to cast their votes for PDP, as they are all tired of the APC government and want Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as president of Nigeria who will rejuvenate the fortunes and economy of the country.
When asked how ready they were to ensure Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and PDP’s victory, the women responded that their voters cards are ready and waiting to be put in use during the election, hence their choice will be made through their votes as Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will not miss any vote from the hausa community in cross river state, chanted that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is the next president of Nigeria.
After several unanimous chants of Atiku/Okowa’s victory by the women, Amb. Victory Ekpe encouraged them to be pertinacious in their decision to vote Alhaji Atiku/Okowa during the presidential elections, she recounted the achievements of Alh.Atiku Abubakar in Nigeria when he was vice president and stressed that the APC Government only came to deceive Nigerians and have destroyed the good legacies PDP built in Nigeria, said such government does not deserve the support of Nigerians and as such should be speedily changed with the use of their permanent voters cards (pvc’s) during next year elections. Encouraged the women in calabar to maintain close relationship and communication with the rest women in other communities, always advising them to be proactive in their support for the victory of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the Peoples Democratic party for a change that will benefit all Nigrians.
