Nigerian rapper Remilekun Abdulkhalid Safaru, popularly known as Reminisce, has likened fame to a powerful drug, describing it as highly intoxicating.
An interview with Naija FM, Lagos, the ‘Alaga Ibile’ crooner expressed how fame can have a strong influence.
“Fame is a hard drug. It’s very intoxicating,” Reminisce
When asked how he manages fame, the rapper explained that he approaches it with the mindset that no one is his friend.
Reminisce clarified that he views people as colleagues rather than friends, which helps him avoid having high expectations from them.
