Nigerian singer, Mejo Element Set To Tie The Knot With Edith.
Mejo ELEMENT is an ”afrocentric”/afropop musician from Nigeria. He calls his style of music ”AFROCENTRIC” which is a red-hot fusion of african originated and popular sounds. His music is borderless. Element is innovative and a great story-teller.
He mainly uses relatable lyrics in his songs. His first single ”Lisa” is already receiving positive feedbacks from his fans in various parts of the worldđź’š. He recently released a classic cover for Libianca’s song ”People”.
The singer announced his holy matrimony to Edith on his Facebook page tagged Edith’s Luck 23″. The wedding announcement got encomium from fans and music lovers across the globe.
Speaking with MPLUGNG, on how he found Edith the singer responded
“I met her in 2017 during our National Youth Service( NYSC) year in Kebbi State. I was about rounding off when she got posted there and we were in the same NYSC CDS group”
Our Traditional marriage will hold on Friday, 17th March, 2023 while the white wedding will come up on Sunday, 19th March, 2023
God took me to the North West to fulfill many purposes and this is one of them.
She is down to earth and an easy going person. She accepted me the way I was and didn’t consider the little size of my pocket as at then.
The singer also spoke about inter-tribal marriage.
He said;
“Inter-tribal marriage is a good way of promoting unity amongst the various tribes that make up Nigeria. It has provided me with a great opportunity to be aware of the unique cultural practices in other lands. I think parents should encourage their children to marry outside their immediate environment”
