Calabar Festival begins audition for artiste to perform on the bigger stage.
Another year of the biggest street party and entertainment is here again in Calabar and this year began in a very high note as the entertainment union led by Amb. Joe Esse in a meeting with the representative of Cross River State Government unanimously agreed on the auditioning of entertainers in the state. Those to be auditioned includes, dancers, singers,comedians and the entertainers in the state.
According to the chairman of the audition panel, Awade Friday Also Known As Last Prophet made it known that Cross River is a cosmopolitan state, with such, auditions and performances are not restricted to Cross River Indigenes alone as different artist across Nigeria came out in their numbers for the auditions.
The following were constituted as the Panel of judges,Last prophet, Fada Kane, SSA on Entertainment, Big Daddy, Mr Noel, Isha Jude, Gap-2ut and Patmgic Sound.
Also the Chairman of Cross River Artiste Forum, Mr, Irek Dee, Censor Board Chairman, Mr Rawtribes, The Vice Chairman, Flawless Duke, Chairman Disciplinary committee of Craf, Oluwa Terry and the Public Relation Officer, Jeremiah Robert.
The audition which began at about 10;00am at Angles Bar, Atekong, Marian, Calabar featured artist, Trendy Cole, Faya Gyal, Meezy, Bassdino , Mr Bless, Extupee ,Dexy Cole, Mr Blings, Vybz and other artists.
Calabar Festival Audition will last for 3 days beginning from today Monday, November 28 to Wednesday 30th November 2022.
